My FIRST Official Blog!!!
l learned in high school as a sophomore, in 1959, where I stood in politics. I was living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the middle of Catholic country, and it was during that time that John Kennedy, the very first Catholic, ran for the presidency. Why he did could be for another time, but he did and he had the charisma that people all over absolutely loved. Does that remind you of someone? It was the age of television, still in its infancy enough that not until then was there a presidential debate on television. The debates were between Kennedy and Nixon, and due to television, Kennedy won. Television wasn’t friendly to Nixon due to his previous illness, fatigue, not shaving right before a debate, etc. In school that fall between classes, there was a lot of chatter as for whom you would vote. The usual answers were, “Kennedy, because he is Catholic” or “Kennedy, because he is cute.” I finally began to ask, “Well, what about the issues?” No one was interested in the issues. Sound familiar? I was flabbergasted! Now, when I look back at this time, I understand why I am so interested in politics and why I am a conservative!!!!
What you need to realize is that the administration and most of the democrats in Congress are proud to say that they are progressives. Through intensive study and research, it has been found that “progressive” means “communist.” When you look at communism and what THAT means it fits what the administration is and what it has been doing AND what they are trying to achieve! They want EVERYONE to be equal, no one has more than the next person, the government will control EVERYTHING, and they want to tell everyone what to do. Example: Mayor Bloomberg and his obsession over sugar and cold drinks and the salt mess. THAT is the BEST example I can think of. Of course, many of you will say, “He’s a republican.” Well, to get elected, he changed from Democrat to Republican. Due to the popularity of Giuliani, Bloomberg, as a republican, was elected. When his time was up, he supported legislation to change the rules so he could be re-elected and due to the economy and his strength in finances, he was, something that Giuliani couldn’t do because the people didn’t support the change at that time. So, Bloomberg is getting his way, dictating what he wants. Note “dictator.”
Now, there are still some democrats who are not progressives, though there are not many left due to the power of the progressives. They are called the fiscal conservative (with money) but liberal, wanting to things for others often in excess. They are often called, “Blue Dog” Democrats, are usually very nice people, and haven’t had a clue as to what is happening. Example: Zell Miller, a senator from Georgia, who said, “I’ll be a Democrat ’til the day I die,” finally realized that something had changed and he no longer fit in the world of democrats in Washington, although he didn’t really understand what was happening. He became the Republican keynote speaker in the 2004 race for George Bush and wouldn’t finish his term in 2005. He just wanted to go home and do his thing in conservative Georgia. Others who didn’t leave were defeated by progressive democrats. Very few remain.
Of course, most did not realize what was happening, and by the second term of President George Bush, the progressives came out into the open and began using that term. I’ll always remember when Hillary Clinton began using that term. Remember the Health Care program she tried to get rammed through Congress during her husband’s first term? She was soundly defeated. She wasn’t even an elected official, and yet she was given far too much power that didn’t really fit in the Constitution. During the second term of President George Bush, they worked hard to get ready for the next election. They decided to work with Barack Hussein Obama due to his charisma, although THAT was ALL he had for the office. He had been nothing but a community organizer and most of the time only voted “present” in the house and senate in Illinois. The ONE vote that should have gotten people’s attention BEFORE he was elected: He voted to let a baby, who survived “partial birth abortion,” to die on the table. It passed, and it was out there for the public to see. Most people had not a clue because they failed to do their research. They couldn’t depend on the media, who were also in the tank for Obama.
Currently, the progressive democrats have become very active AND prominent in what is going on to re-elect Obama. They are willing to do most anything to keep their power and control in order to radically change our country. It has been just this week when information was released showing that Obama belonged to a far left group called “the New Party,” combining ACORN and the Democratic Socialists of America. He was an active participant in the 1990s and a direct political beneficiary of the Chicago new Party and the Chicago DSA (Democratic Socialists of America). I began to see it a whole lot sooner than most and I began saying it, writing it in facebook, and causing many to think I was crazy, stupid, or mean. I am none of those. What with at least 32 czars and more on the way, none of whom answers to Congress (and he known that), it is sounding like a Communist government. It is call LOGIC. Put together the facts and I come out with what I have written. I am very interested in politics and very much LOVE my country. I only want the best for the good old U. S. of A. and because of that; I try to stay informed about what is happening. I can’t always keep up with what is happening, and sometimes I have to ask questions, or ask about something I don’t understand; however, I DO understand the basic things out there in the world of politics and realize what is going on!!!
Today, we are seeing a great many things that are going on to thwart the election of ANYONE except Obama. The progressive democrats will try to destroy anyone or anything that gets in their way. We have already seen the destruction of Sarah Palin, Herman Cain (without any proof), Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum. They have said whatever was necessary to keep them out of the picture or off of the stage! They didn’t want anyone strong to run against Obama. I really do feel, in MY opinion, that they would rather have Romney as an opponent. Governor Romney is a Mormon (to be used against him later), successfully pushed a similar healthcare program in Massachusetts, and is a very nice man. Perhaps they think Romney is too nice and will not be strong enough to stand up against Obama. I think that, also, but I am quite willing to be surprised. We shall see.
I guess what I am trying to say is that to my Democrat friends, I don’t feel that if you really knew the facts, you wouldn’t support what is happening. To my Republican friends, I wish you would slap yourselves and wake up to what is REALLY going on and become involved! Stop pussy-footing around and being politically correct and then be sorry later. THAT won’t accomplish a single thing, and by then, our country will be lost!
As I have said, I love this country VERY much!!! I had a great grandfather come over here from Denmark with a very dear friend to begin a business in Ft. Worth, my grandfather fought in WW1, and my father went in on Normandy, fought in the battle of the Bulge, and served with Patton! For what, to have a government that is trying to change our country to what Europe is? I thought we had said good-bye to England in 1776!!! It is up to you, each and every one of you to think about what is going on and decide what YOU would like to have. Do you want a socialist government mixed with communism and be taken care of, OR do you want liberty and freedom, free to be Americans and make your OWN decisions? You will be making THAT decision in November. God help us all!!!! AND God Bless America!!!

I listened to your Saturday 3/24 broadcast and sat awestruck and humbled as I heard you read my email from 3/21. Your affirmations and kind words in response to that email left my wife Helen and I speechless. You are a true Patriot and (s)heroine Janine…God bless.

March 26th marked the first time I tuned in for your broadcast……awesome show Janine. Last Wednesday (21st) I sent you an email on Hollywood elites and their hypocrisy. Having had back surgery this month I cannot sit very long and therefore didn’t read your response until this past Sunday. Per your response you indicated that you were going to read my email (last week) which I did not expect. If you did read my email, I am sorry I missed it and cannot thank you enough.
I called-in today 3/26 hoping to chat with you but unfortunately my call went unanswered during the show. I enjoyed hearing from Susan Faludi and feel her book and thoughts are very important for America in a time in this nation’s history where reason and common sense are vanishing. Thank you for your continued efforts to educate and inform Americans even though doing so, your relationship with Hollywood is surely in decline.
