Can we add to the Truth Act, the proviso that no regulation proceeding from a legislative act or has a significant impact on the citizenry, can be enforced until such time as the Congress has approved such regulation. It is a little tiresome when a bureaucrat takes a legislative act and crafts something that has people up in arms to hear Congressional denizens shrug and throw up their hands and defend themselves with a “but we didn’t mean that!” Most times it is up to the affected citizens to battle it out in the courts.

And. quite frankly, if this requirement slows down the wheels of government, that’s a feature not a bug.

While we’re at it, let’s cut the size of Congressional staffs in half. We wouldn’t have so many people trying to justify their positions by becoming experts in areas of life in which government has no business being experts.

The first time I heard of this type of outrage was when Glenn Beck spoke of not being able to purchase a block to air a documentary about the American Revolution and the founding of America. Then you couldn’t get air time for your foundation, now Rise Up and Register is denied airtime.

It’s intuitively obvious to the most casual observer that the networks are now viewing themselves as gate keepers, filtering out any message or group that may not be in the tank for Socialism. The less people know about the formation and foundation of our country, the Constitution, the happier the left is. If they can block any effort to register a conservative group, it helps them in achieving their goals.

We shouldn’t be surprised. “Centralization of the means of communications” is a basic tenet of Communism, and this simply shows the nature of what we are facing.

Great work Janine.I speak for myself but since 2008, I have been extremely frightened-when I see the incompetence of our leadership.I have never been so worried that this nation is divided and both sides are so defiant.I was always an independent but never have I felt this Republican in my entire life since 1957.Obamacare has been interpreted by many as just a tricky way to transfer power to the executive branch.I want to know what is the real truth of our Leaderships intentions are.I want America the Beautiful, to come back to me and its citizens.I’m willing to work hard,pay even more taxes but please lets bring our country home where it belongs.The whole world is laughing at us!Keep up the good work and let us know if we can do anything for “Americas Keepers”.

Hi Janine,

Religious services were held for 50+ years in the Congress and was attended by many members of the founding fathers including Thomas Jefferson. The only restriction on religion was to prevent Congress from passing laws that established religion or the free exercise thereof. It said nothing about the seperation of Church and state which was dreamed up through the years by those who saw religion as a threat to their power.

If the Presidential oath of office really meant anything , Obama would be escorted from the White House in his first year, not only for Obumer care but for the obvious abuse of power in all his dealings…for obvious lies to congress and the american people, his questionable qualifications to hold the office, lack of real proof of being an american…the list is long!
